Brian Witt will present a session on January 22, 2010, at the 13th Annual Volunteer Leadership Institute-Hawaii presented by The Paragon Group. Brian's presentation is entitled "Credit Union Director Liability: It Shouldn't Hurt to Volunteer" and will address credit union director liability and corporate governance issues.

Brian is chair of the firm's Financial Services practice group and represents regional and national financial service providers on regulatory, compliance, and operational issues in Oregon and Washington. He is an active member of the Consumer Finance and Cyberspace law— Electronic Transactions Committees of the Business Section of the American Bar Association, and a co-founder and co-host of the podcast Current Issues in Credit Unions (CIiCU).
