Kim McGair Installed on Classroom Law Project Board

Kim McGair has been elected to the Board of Directors for the Classroom Law Project. She is an advocate for education-based organizations, and brings an abiding passion for education and more than ten years of legal experience to the CLP board.

CLP promotes public understanding of the law and legal process for 15,000 elementary and secondary students by incorporating the lessons and principles of democracy into the school curriculum.

Kim's practice emphasizes commercial litigation, collections, property rights, and defense of financial institutions. She has represented all types of clients in a variety of legal matters before the Oregon and Washington courts. Kim received her law degree from Lewis and Clark Law School (cum laude) in 1998, and her undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Oregon (cum laude) in 1994.
