David Ludwig Re-Elected President of Metropolitan Youth Symphony Board

David Ludwig has been re-elected board president for the Metropolitan Youth Symphony (MYS). The appointment is a two-year term beginning July 1, 2016. David has been president of the MYS board since 2014, and a member since 2012. He brings more than 30 years of legal knowledge and experience to the MYS.
Metropolitan Youth Symphony, founded in 1975, serves 400-500 K-12 students annually in the Portland and SW Washington area.They offer twelve ensembles, with four levels of orchestra and three levels of band. Their size allows them to place all young musicians who apply to their program in an ensemble that is appropriate for their level of musical accomplishment. Through the MYS' tuition assistance program, they ensure that no young musicians are turned away because of their family's financial situation.
David's law practice focuses on corporate and securities, real estate transactions and financing matters. He draws on more than 30 years of experience handling complicated business and financial matters including mergers and acquisitions, private and public securities, copyright, and general corporate matters.
